Essay

The optical diagnostics complex consisting of spectroscopy, interferometry and different methods of plasmas ra-diation registration, that permits the plasma stream charac-teristics determination with a high spatial and temporary resolution in a wide plasmas parameters range was devel-oped. Results of the QSPA accelerating properties study in dependence of the cathode transformer and first accelerat-ing stage operating regimes are offered. Determined were plasma parameters at the compression zone of the QSPA Kh-50. The detailed analysis the characteristics of the so called plasma shielding layer, which is formed nearby tar-get surface in dense plasma impact conditions was per-formed.
