Essay

Research object: soil cultivation processes and the parameters of the combine machine for its preparation to sow grain crops. Aim of research: to increase the effectiveness to grow grain crops by expenditure reduction to prepare the soil for sowing. Research methods and apparatus: the research work was carried out while using mechanical mathematical soil cultivation process modelling including higher mathematics and theoretical mechanics methods. Theoretical and practical results: the mathematical models for the interaction of soil cultivation implements in chisel working organs with the soil were devised, the dynamic models of combine soil cultivation machine function were drawn up , the above mentioned models were modernized to reduce energy expenditure and to improve the quality of technological process performance in soil cultivation. Novelty of the newly-introduced: the mathematical models concerning the interaction of chisel working organs with the soil were elaborated for the first time. It enabled to describe the rational profile of a soil cultivation implement theoretically in three-dimensional space, the theoretical substantiation of working processes in combine soil cultivation machinery was developed further to reduce their power-consuming character and to improve the quality of soil cultivation. Introduction level: the modernization of AGRO-3 combine soil cultivation machine produced by "Galeshchyna, machinery plant" OSC of Poltava region was carried out. Sphere of use: agriculture.
