Zagajnov M. The surgical aspects to repair tetralogy of Fallot in the adults.

The study was investigated for the most important problems to optimize surgical treatment tetral-ogy of Fallot in the adults. The were analyzed 200 patients underwent the repair tetralogy of Fallot in Amosov ICVS AMS of Ukraine. All operations were performed during 20 years period from 1981 to 2000. The mean age was 24,9 ± 6,1 month (range from 19 to 47 years). The main features of the right ventricle hypertrophy were studied. Efficiency of palliation was identified for adults. After radical correc-tion of tetralogy of Fallot the adults patients (95%), have I-II NYHA and normal of heals the life. Pe-rioperative risk factors for mortality and morbidity were identified. The results of operations is bad at adults patients, than at young patients.
