Essay

The peculiarities in antioxidant ensymes reaction of two spring wheat cultivars with different tolerance to the soil salinity there were revealed. It was shown that salt and drought tolerance of spring wheat is in the close relations with antioxidant system activity in chloroplasts. It is shown, that under combined stress the phenomenon of cross adaptation take place at the level of chloroplast antioxidant enzyme activities. The strong positive correlation between the grain mass from one ear and the ratio of the enzymes activities SOD/APX was found.
