Essay

The prognostic value of microvessels density (MD) of ovarian cancer (OC) for pateints’ survival was shown. This criterion was suggested for use in clinics. The opposite relation between the OC MD and TNF-alfa expression in tumor microenvironment was shown, and for TGF-beta – tendency to opposite relation. The proteome of microvascular endothelail cells was analysed, and 54 proteins – targets of TGF –beta – were identified. Smad3-interacting proteins were identified. It was shown that decreased expression of proteins BRCA1, р57 and hyperexpression of р53 protein in OC cells is associated with activated tumor angiogenesis. We suggested the estimation of BRCA1 protein expression in OC cells as criterion for patients’ survival. The therapeutic use of interferon-alfa2b with the antiangiogenesis purpose in a low-dose long-term regimen was suggested for patients with chemoresistant recidives of OC.
