Dissertation is devoted to the problem of optimization of medical care to newborns with the meconium aspiration syndrome. Newborns with MAS have imbalance in the system of proteinases and antiproteinases during neonatal period . It's a factor of pathophysiological mechanisms of developing of respiratory disturbances. The use of natural proteinases inhibitors (contrycal) in complex treatment results in decrease of respiratory therapy duration, complications' lowering and standing in hospital.
