Essay

The object of the current research is disks of agricultural corn seeders. The goal of the research is the increase of the resource of operation of corn feeder disks through the application of resource-saving technologies. Research methodology includes steel wear proof method; metallographic and chemical analyses; assessment methods of deformation strengthening and tireless durability; experimental and calculation methodology of identification of tense deformation situations in a disk, and experimental research of corn feeder disk wear. Scientific newness of the research consists in the development and scientific grounding of resource-saving technology of the renewal of the disks of agricultural corn feeders with the account of conditions of their operation. Another newness of this study is the improvement of resource wear proof of the disks through the creation of remaining squeeze tensions in the metal of a disk's working area. The outcomes of this study are the development of the corn feeder disk recovery technology through the renewal of external diameter of the disc working area. The technology found implementation with the Agricultural Company "Lvivske" Ltd (Lviv, Ukraine). Application sphere of the technology is agricultural sector of Ukraine.
