Kelembet S. Princes of Nizhgorod-Suzdal land late in XIV - middle XV centuries (historical-genealogical discours)

The object is complex sources derived from the history of Nizhgorod-Suzdal land in the late XIV - middle XV centuries, all the known aspects of which were connected with the activity of Suzdal Princes. The aim is to represent systemized historical and genealogical essay about Suzdal Princes evaluating all the known aspects of their activity by analyzing critically the existing complex of sources and historiographic materials. The methods are principles of historical method, objectivity and systemic method, historic-chronological, comparative-historical, historic-genetic, reconstruction, specific source study and specific genealogical analyses. The thesis is concerned with insufficiently explored problem - analysis of complex sources from genealogy and bibliography of representatives from Suzdal Princes family. The following results are obtained: the dates of some undated act documents are determined as exact as possible, the level of authenticity of other sources are analyzed, genealogy of Suzdal Princes are reconstructed, the chronology of their ruling is defined more exactly or principally revised, the courses of their temporary successes and final defeat are presented.
