Essay

Object - fly ash-cement-sulfate binders and concretes modified with sulfates, silica additives and plasticizers; goal – to develop low-clinker binders with high content of fly ash, and concretes based on them; methods – physical-chemical, mathematic planning; novelty – physical-chemical foundations for composite design of low-clinker fly ash-cement binding systems containing up to 65% of fly ash are elaborated, these systems contain sulfates, silica additives and naphthalene-formaldehyde superplasticizers which results in synthesis of solid solutions of sulfoaluminosilicate hydrates and low-based calcium silicate hydrates; results - concrete compositions based on binding systems developed have been elaborated; the building materials elaborated have been industrially applied; branch – construction.
