Julia S. The interrelations between Germany and Visegrad Group Countries (1991-2004)

This thesis is devoted to the analyses of German’s relations with the Visegrad countries in 1991-2004. The changes in the foreign policy of unified Germany and their meaning for the Visegrad states are examined. The place of Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary in the new German foreign policy is defined, the role of Germany in the foreign policy of the above-mentioned states is characterized. The process of formation and development of political, economic, cultural and other relations between the FRG and Visegrad countries is analysed. The thesis shows the evolution of these relations in conneсtion with European integration and political solution of the problems arising from the past. The contect, the character, the aims and the main directions of interrelations between Germany and Visegrad states are established; it is also determinated the results and the contemporary condition of this partnership.
