Essay

The new method of treatment of sol-gel analyse data in logarithmic-logarithmic coordinates has been proposed. The method is applicable for determination of crosslinking extent in polymers with any initial MWD. The new method has been applied to the real processes of polyethylene modification: radiation crosslinking in presence of acetylene; photochemical crosslinking in presence of aromatic and volatile photo-initiatiors as well as peroxide-mediated crosslinking of PE.
