Essay

The work presents of the study on production technology, quality, and utilization efficiency of silage made mixture of amaranth (50%) with maize (50%) or sorghum-sudan grass hybrid (50%) in pregnant sows diets in conditions of the Ukraine Forest-Steppe. Based on the obtained data and estimation of the economic efficiency of used these silages in pregnant sows diets was established expediency of amaranth as silage crop in the pig breeding.
