Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of protein and lipid oxidation in in vitro and in vivo systems. It has been found that catalase play an important role for minimization of protein and lipid free radical oxidation possibility in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Obtained results made more profound knowledge about function of antioxidant system in the yeast under iron influence and utilization of unfermentable carbon sources.
