Essay

Object of research - is the process of influence that non-linear parameters of a protective device have on information signal quality. The research aim is to ensure interference protection of information systems with extensive telecommunication lines exposed to electromagnetic interferences. The research methods used include mathematical apparatus of Volterra functional series, numerical methods, linear programming, physical experiments in laboratory conditions, statistical experimental data processing to obtain functional links and empirical relations. Practical value of the received results - consists in the fact that, on the basis of the theoretical assumptions developed, technical solutions were proposed for reducing interference currents and voltages induced in sheaths of communication lines of information systems by 16-20 dB and simultaneously decreasing band width of acting electromagnetic interferences by factor of 3-5. Scientific novelty of the received results consists- in the study of non-linear transit-time processes in telecommunication lines exposed to electromagnetic interferences and the methods for improving interference protection developed on its basis; the apparatus of Volterra functional series was further developed; the possibility of its usage for analysis of extensive cable communication lines of telecommunication networks with non-linear protective devices is grounded; a mathematical model of an extensive coaxial communication line in the form of cascade assemblage of non-linear devices with concentrated parameters was proposed for the first time; general analytical relations for characterization of transition function of the model developed were obtained; a method for calculation of interference protection level of cable communication lines of telecommunication networks was developed; computational-experimental approach to interference protection of communication lines of telecommunication networks was developed and practically grounded for the first time. Results of dissertational wrk are realized - at Information systems department of NTU “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” in academic courses taught; at “Electro-mechanical factory ”Magnet-Ekont” (Kanev) – for development ofcomputer systems with advanced interference protection; at Shevchenko Factory, (Kharkiv) – for enhancing of serial models of modern telecommunication equipment and control systems for atomic and thermoelectric power stations; at Kharkiv Factory of Electric Appliances – for improving electromagnetic compatibility and protection characteristics of certain components of electric energy meters; at “Communar” factory – for improving electromagnetic compatibility and protection characteristics of certain components of soft- and hardware of technological complex ПТК СКРЗТ-6(12).
