The dissertation is devoted to research of the heritage of composer W.Barvinsky, namely: the music for a violoncello and piano and also violoncello with ensembles, as the first samples of ukrainian professional works in this kind of composition (among them -- the Lyrical concert for a violoncello with orchestra is analysed for the first time).
