Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the problem of the influence of Protestantism on the formation of the governance in Germany (XVIII-XX). In this work there is observed the formation of anti-Catholic ideology – Protestantism, the appearance of new capitalistic affairs in the depth of the feudal society and its transformation to the ideology of new layer – the bourgeoisie. The complex analysis of Protestantism is carried out as religious and also as social-politic phenomenon in Germany. The attempt to solve the problem of protestant’s influence on economic, political and cultural factor of German society in different periods of its history is observed. There are confessional debates between Protestants and Catholics are studied, based on works of ideologists of both churches. The national character of Protestantism is the main cause of its historical-progressive role, what is successfully determinated in the thesis. The weakening of the influence of Protestantism on the society was challenged by antihuman policy of Nazism is showed in this work. The main role of Protestant’s factor in political and ideological life in everyday life of Germany is revealed.
