Essay

The thesis deals with the investigation of Malaniuk's creative work as the model of intercultural artistic communication, particularly in comparative and typological connections with Ukrainian and Polish literatures on the basis of archive materials, known and rare accessible sources. The author determines the issue of Polish translations' attribution of Malaniuk's rhyme "Warsaw", deduces influence of Malaniuk's historiosophical conception on Lobodovsky's creative work, operation of "Hellenic complex" against the background of other cultural models (Russian Scythism, Polish Sarmathism). Malaniuk's "Polish" and Tuwim's "Warsaw" heritage has been analysed; similarities and distinctions of idea and thematic, subject and compositional, genre and stylistic levels of Malaniuk's poetry in comparison with Tuwim's, Lobodowsky's creative work are being deeply studied. The reception of Malaniuk's creative work in Ukrainian and Polish periodicals is examined in the thesis; the peculiarities of archaetype of Warsawcity are also fixed in Malaniuk's, Tuwim's and Stempovsky's vision.
