Shved A. Clinical and pathogenetic substantiation of the combined application of angiothensin convertion enzym ingibitor and systemic enzym therapy in the patients with diabetic retinopathy

The dissertation explores the ways of improving of the diagnosis and theraputic correction of different stages of diabetic retinopathy. The results of research testify, that basic pathogenetic ways of development and progression of diabetic retinopathy are infringement of microhaemocirculation of an eye retina, imune reactivity and activation of processes of lipid peroxidation with an oppression antioxydant systems and development of capillary feeding insufficiency, that finally results in decrease of an acuteness of sight, colour and contrast sensitivity in the patients with diabetes mellitus. The inclusion in complex therapy of angiothensin convertion enzym ingibitor moexypril and systemic enzym therapy preparation wobenzym allows essentially to improve or to normalize blood flow in the retina of an eye, parameters of lipid peroxidation and immune resistance in all patients with vascular stage of retinopathy, 92,0 % - exudative, 86,4 % - haemorrhative and at 50,0 % - proliferative retinopathy, thatis accompanied by improvement of parameters of a functional condition of the visual analyzer.
