The dissertation contains scientific justification of theoretical issues of state budget structure. It looks at historical evolution of "budget structure" concept and explains its substance and major components. The specific features of budget structure of Ukraine and stages of its building up have been illustrated. The main controversial issues related to Ukrainian budget structure at today's stage of economic development of the country have been shown. Ways to streamline the abovementioned structure have been suggested.
