The solution of actual scientific applied problem of raising the efficiency of iron ore mine ventilation after mass blasts is performed by establishing regularities of toxic gas absorbing process in destroyed space after mass blasts and its removing to joined block workings and developing on their basis the methods and means allowing to raise the efficiency of ventilation of workings in iron ore mines and exclude the occasions of miners' poisoning by toxic blast products. Ac-cording to the results of theoretical and experimental re-searches the way of managing the process of blast gas remov-ing from brought down spaces is developed characterized by using the elements with given filtration characteristics and applying more perfect ventilation constructions providing optimal ventilation regimes (adequate to the process of changing the ore atmosphere condition in workings joined to brought down space)
