Object of the study: bronchial asthma against a background of chronic cholecystitis in women. Purpose of the study: To optimize the treatment of women with persisting bronchial asthma against a background of chronic cholecystitis using differential treatment with consideration of the course of bronchial asthma and chronic cholecystitis and administration of Erbisol and neurotropic drugs in addition to basic therapy. Methods of research: General clinical, laboratory, biochemical, instrumental, x-ray, immunological, immunoenzyme studies, microbiological study of the sputum and bile, psychological testing, functional probes. Theoretical and practical results: It was proven that the state of the biliary system plays a role in formation of clinical, neurological, biochemical, endocrinological, immunological changes in women with persisting BA. The developed scheme of differentiated treatment of this category of patients allowed to decrease the term of treatment of BA and reduce the hospital stay. Novelty:It was revealed that BA accompanied by CC is characterized by increased allergic readiness of the organism and sensitivity to non-specific factors, association of asthma signs with other manifestations of allergy, early onset, heredity, severe forms, decreased efficacy of basic therapy. The characteristics of CC accompanying BA were studied. The changes of the immune, nervous system, activity of LP-AOP processes in BA accompanied by CC were studied. It was revealed that in patients with BA accompanied by CC, general diagnostic criteria are presence of allergic, neurotic syndromes and premenstrual syn-drome. A considerable dysbalance in the system of sex hormones forming against a background of weak sexual constitution was revealed. Different efficacy of basic BA therapy accompanied by CC was established. A scheme of differentiated treatment of patients with BA depending on the clinical forms of the both diseases with the account of basic therapy on BA and CC on the state of the bronchi and GB was worked out.The efficacy of Erbisol, neurotropic drugs (depending on the state of the nervous system) in addition to the basic treatment was substantiated. The findings of the research were introduced into the work of five therapy, pulmonology, gastroenterology departments of Poltava, Kyiv, Lugansk, Kherson, Mykolaiv regions. The obtained data are used in the teaching process in higher medical schools of Ukraine. The material of the dissertation in used in lectures delivered to the students of UMDA and interns.
