Essay

The disertation is dedicated to studies of levels cytokines in peripheral blood in patients at risk of diabetes mellitus type 1 (DM1), in patients with overt DM1 and in patients with DM2 on the early stage of duration of illness. Increased concentration of IL-12 and Th1 during all stages of DM1 were determined, it might be a reason of primary development of cellular immune response in patients with DM1. Also correlation betwen TNF and intensity of immune beta-cells destruction in on the C-peptide positive DM1 was found out. In case of DM2 connections betwen cytokines and metabolism parameters that were found give us possibility to consider proinflammatory cytokines as the factors of DM2 development.
