Essay

The thesis related to the synthesis of polyethylene/rubber blends with a structure of semi-interpenetrating polymer networks and properties of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE). An influence of reactive polymer modifiers on the phase structure and physical-chemical properties of the obtained TPE has been studied. The modern methods of analysis (IR-spectroscopy, DSC, DMTA and SEM) have been used for characterization of TPE synthesized. Obtained polymer composites can be used as an insulating, sealing and water-proofing materials.
