Chugaiev O. Economic factors of emergence and prevention of currency crises (regional aspect).

The thesis is devoted to the research of common and peculiar regularities in the emergence of currency crises in the regions of the world in case of emerging economies. The author studies significant features of a currency crises, their types, methods of dating currency crises, theoretical models of their emergence and contagion. The thesis provides intercountry comparative analysis of the development of currency crises, characterizes the general mechanism of currency crisis emergence, regional dissimilarities are pointed out. Impact of factors and consequences of currency crises are analysed. Further the research focuses on the evaluation of anticrisis measures. The author recommends target zones within measures for currency crisis prevention in Ukraine.
