Pohranychna K. The substitution of postoperative jaw bone defects with placenta tissue plastic material

Object – in experimental part – animals rats with artificially created bone defects of the lower jaw, in clinical part – patients with postoperative jaw bone defects; objective - experimental and clinical improvement of efficiency of treating patients with postoperative jaw bone defects using the osteoplastic material “Osteopor” on the basis of lyophilized placental tissue and biphasic ceramics “Kerhap T”; methods - histomorphological, morphometric, general clinical, anthropometric, radiological, echoostometrical and biochemical; novelty - for the fist time new composite osteoplastic material “Osteopor” was produced and applied for jaw bone defects substitution; results - methodic recommendations on producing and application of “Osteopor” were developed; introduced into clinical practice of health care institutions in Lviv, and included into the curriculum for students, and postgraduate education programs for dentists; sphere - health protection.
