Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to complex research of scientific and social-political activity of the prominent historian I.V.Luchitsky. The process of formation and transformation his scientific interests and theoretical-methodological research's basis were analyzed in thesis. Luchitsky's principal directions of scientific and pedagogic activity were investigated in the dissertation. His creative heritage is analyzed. Luchitsky's place and role in the social and political life of Ukraine and in the historical science is shown.
