Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the study of peculiarities of frost resistance of introduced deciduous magnolias in climatic conditions of Ukrainian Woodlands and Forest-steppe. It have been researched the peculiarities of formation of the ground, parenchymal, strengthening and storage tissues of shoots contrasting in frost resistance species of magnolias; seasonal dynamics of biochemistry compounds (flavonoids and lipids), which can be used for the frost resistance estimation of plants under the conditions of introduction.
