Flis G. Treatment of anomaly of form and changes of color of separate staying teeth

The dissertation is dedicated to the questions of effectiveness maintenance in treatment of anomaly of form and changes of color of separate staying teeth in combination with orthodontic pathology by the means of development of new methods of color identification and esthetic treatment on new technologies. During years 2001 - 2005, we had investigated and treated 96 patients with anomaly of form and changes of color of separate staying teeth: 36 male persons (37,5%) in the age from 17 to 40 years old and 60 females (62,5%) in the same age. The majority of patients were in the age of 17-20 and 20-25 years old - 35 (36,4%) and 27 (28,1%). Correlation between had formed 1:1,7 in favor of female. According to the aim and to improve objectivity of our investigation there was created control group of patients with anomaly of form and changes of color of separate staying teeth within anomaly of form and changes of color of separate staying teeth in combination with orthodontic pathology. Control group had been consisted of 30 persons at the age of 17 to 40 years old, 13 male persons (43,3%) and 17 female persons (56,7%). For the first time the spread of anomaly of form and changes of color of separate staying teeth among students of National Medical University named after A.A.Bogomoletz had been settled, the major causes of changes of color of separate staying teeth among students of National Medical University named after A.A.Bogomoletz had been investigated, the spread of malocclusions and pathology of separate staying teeth in combination with anomaly of form and changes of color of separate staying teeth among students of National Medical University named after A.A.Bogomoletz had been settled. For the first time computer system of color identification of teeth during the treatment had been developed. New effective methods of treatment of anomaly of form and changes of color of separate staying teeth in combination with orthodontic pathology were worked out. The remote results of treatment of anomaly of formand changes of color of separate staying teeth by our method had shown positive effect in 93,3% of cases.
