Bocharov B. Models and Methods of Decision-making Support in University Library Automated Control Systems

The Object - processes of library-informational providing of studying in university. The purpose - increasing of the informational-library effectiveness providing of studying in university with the development of the models, methods and program tools for decision-making support man-machine interactive system designed for the modern library rational control. The methods - theoretical researches are based on the following toolkit: the methods of library control decision-making analysis, multicriterion task decision-making theory, optimization and mathematical programming, control theory, operations research, mathematical statistics. The developed formalization and modeling tools set of university library control decision-making provides quality control increasing and personal routine work decreasing. The results of work as applied program modules and analytical recommendations are successfully introduced into the libraries of Kharkov State Culture Academy and Kharkov National Academy of Municipal Economy, the results of work are also used in educational process at the Informational Technologies Chair in Kharkov National Academy of Municipal Economy.
