Dicarboxyacids with imide groups were prepared by reaction of trimellitic anhydride or selected tetracarboxylic acid anhydrides and naphthalene-1,4,5,8-tetracarboxylic with ?-amino acids or ?-amino acids we obtained 44 monomers? Form which 16 were pure (melting point, IR, 1H NMR spectra), 5 monomers weren’t found in the literature. Dicarboxydiimide chlorides were prepared by typical reaction of selected dicarboxydiimides with thionyl chloride. Diacetates of diols were prepared in reaction of diols with acetic anhydride. Poly(ester imide)s in reaction between selected chlorides of diacids containing imide group. Solubility of the obtained polymers in polar solvents, viscosity of 0,5% solution in DMF, their thermal resistance, IR, 1H NMR spectra and specific optical rotation were measured. Wettability of prepared layers by two liguid crystals (PCB, 6CHBT) was measured. Anchoring energy coefficient of liguid crystal 6CHBT on two poly(amideimide) layers was determined.
