The dissertation is devoted to studies of ability for copolymers of acrylonitrile with styrene (ANST) and with alkylmethacrylates: methyl- (ANMMA), butyl- (ANBMA), hexyl- (ANHMA) and octylmethacrylate (ANOMA) to stabilize homogeneous liquid crystal (LC) alignment in the volume of a LC-system as well as mechanism of this effect.
