Objects - fan blade of the D-18T engine, propeller shaft of the AI-24 engine, LPC shaft of the D-36 engine and powders ПХ20Н80, ПКХН-15 and ВКНА; Purpose - improvement in carrying capacity of detonation coatings on the gas-turbine engine parts that are made of the titanium alloys and high-alloy steels by forming rational combination of characteristics of the surface layer by the surface plastic deformation; Methods - X-raying structural method - to determine the structural and phase changes; metallographic method - to investigate microstructure of the coatings; methods of engineering mechanics - to investigate residual stresses, resistance to fatigue failure and fretting wear; Novelty - it is shown for the first time that surface deformation hardening with the help of diamond smoothening and ultrasonic machining with the beads improves resistance of the shafts and antivibration webs of the blades that are made of the titanium alloys and high-alloy steels to fatigue and fretting wear owing to increase in degree of hardening, elimination of the pores and formation of the residual compressing stresses; Results - development of the process of formation of the detonation spraying of the parts with the prescribed characteristics, which ensure improvement in carrying capacity of coatings on the gas-turbine engine parts as well as creation of detonation complex УДК-3; Stage of incorporation - incorporated at Motor Sich JSC; Field of application - mechanical engineering and manufacture of aero-engines.
