Essay

Micro- and low-alloyed steels with different structure. New heat-treatment and deformation-heat-treatment modes creation for properties increasing of structural steels for civil engineering and machine building industry. Light, electron transmission and scanning microscopy, mechanical tests. Heat-treatment modes applicable for industry have been developed. Leading hand of Ti(C,N) and AlN in acicular ferrite formation in structural steel has been established. Peculiarities of acicular ferrite structure and properties of structural steel with acicular ferrite structure have been defined. Application area: materials science, metallurgy, machine building industry.
