Об'єкт дослідження - stereotypically determined lexical and phraseological language units of modern American English. Мета дослідження - the research of the Hispanic culture stereotypes verbalized in American English. Теоретичні результати та новизна - as a result of the complex analysis of mechanisms, ways and means of ethnic stereotypes verbalization in American English - Ethnolinguistics, Linguo-cultural Study, Sociolinguistics, Linguo-pragmatics, Verbal Communication Theory, Semantics and Semaciology of the English language were enriched. We were the first to point out and specify the correlations between ethnic stereotypes and derogatory linguistic characteristics of Hispanic people in American English. The classification of "pseudo Spanish" lexical units of American English was worked out. Практичне значення - the conclusions and recommendations of the dissertation can be used in teaching the theoretical courses of Lexicology, Ethnolinguistics, Sociolinguistics, can be helpful while composing linguo-cultural dictionaries, textbooks on Lexicology and Stylistics of English.
