Essay

The dissertation presents a clinico-immunologic corroboration of the presence of disturbances of systemic and local immunity, in particular, in patients with chronic purulent maxillary sinusitis (CPMS); it substantiates experimentally and clinico-immunologically the inclusion of thiotriazolin a medication with an immunomodulatory action in a course of multimodality therapy of patients with CPMS, the efficacy of its correcting action in case of its general and topical application in patients with this particular pathology has been proved, the efficiency of the proposed method of treatment in the near future and in a year after the termination of treatment in comparison with classical treatment of patients with CPMS has been studied.
