Essay

The given work is dedicated to the solution of an acute scientific task - ensuring the reliability of axle-box assembly units of freight cars in operation. Was offered mathematical failure model, and on its base the structural function of a roller bearing states has been determined and the indices of faultless work of a axle-box assembly unit have been obtained. On the base of the obtained data we offered to perfect the system of technical maintenance and repair of freight cars axle-box assembly units at the expense of changing the terms of conducting diagnostics of a box assembly unit and scheduled repair.
