The investigation is devoted to the historical and philosophical aspects of the role of social and cultural heredity in the development of the individual. It was grounded that the total cultural and historical process acts as a means of development of active power in the individual by means of heritage and heredity as a means of production and essentiality. Mastering of spiritual heritage, the essence of which is historical and philosophical heritage, is the connection between personality and historical and spiritual development. It is for the first time that the role of social and cultural along with historical and philosophical heritage during the transition to global informative society was investigated.
