Essay

The peculiarities of adaptation reactions of antioxidative system in sunflower plants under lead and cadmium effect were revealed. It was shown that transferring sunflower plants form variants with lower concentration of heavy metals to the solutions with higher concentrations due to increasing their accumulations, increasing tolerance index, hydrogen peroxide and reduced glutathione content. Effect of these ions on the early stages lead to increasing of the glutathione reductase activity, exposure time due to increasing catalase and peroxidase activity
