Essay

The substantial increase of sympathic and decreasing of parasympatic vegetative nervous system activity in patients with duodenal ulcer in combination with angina pectoris of exertion comparing with patients with ischemic heart disease alone, duodenal ulcer alone and practically healthy persons were fixed during observation. In patients with combination of duodenal ulcer and angina pectoris of exertion plasma concentrations of adrenalin and noradrenalin were increased comparing with patients with ischemic heart disease alone, duodenal ulcer alone. The episodes of silence myocardial ischemia had maximal frequency and duration in patients with combination of duodenal ulcer and angina pectoris of exertion. High efficiency of sulpirid in complex therapy in relation to correction of vegetative dysfunction and episodes of myocardial ischemia in patients with duodenal ulcer in combination with angina pectoris of exertion was proved for the first time.
