A research object is a process of mechanical cottoniring of linen raw material; a purpose of work is development of technological process of receipt of cottonin from low-grade linen raw material by perfection of process of primary treatment of flax. Scientifically grounded and expedience of shtapelization of fibres of flax is experimentally well-proven to length of cotton on stage of roughing-out of linen raw material by cutting of the oriented layer of raw; mathematical dependence of percent of rumple linen raw material is certain on specific pressure in the pair of crumple billows, thicknesses of layer of the cut raw and middle corner of orientation of fibres in a layer in the process of treatment of the unoriented layer of the cut raw of flax in shallow-riffle crumple billows; the optimum amount of combing is certain for the receipt of cottonin with physical-mechanical descriptions, close to the proper descriptions of cotton fibre . The results of the conducted researches are approved on "Flaxfactory "Starosambirskiy". A purview the enterprises of the primary processing of bast fibres.
