The dissertations presents a complex study of the making of the leading public organization of Ukrainian immigrants in the United Kingdom - the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (the AUGB) - in the period of 1945-1949. The thesis systematizes and summarizes major achievements of the AUGB, an outstanding role of the AUGB ociation of Ukrainians in public life of immigrants in the U.K. in 1945-1949 being explicitly stated.
