Essay

The work is devoted to the solution of the problem of creation millimeter and submillimeter band aplifiers and generators based on the field emission matrix pointed cathodes. There was developed the mathematical model of diode and triode metal or semiconductor pointed cathode covered with dielectric layer structures. The low-voltage structure was proposed, the possibility of the significant voltage decrease is shown. There were shown the possibility of usage of the pointed field emission structure for millimeter and submillimeter band microwave generators and amplifiers.
