Yermakova I. Peculiarities in Dynamic Compaction of Soil Mixes with Utilization of Wastes from Mining Industry – “the Tailings”

Object – soil mixes with utilization of mining industry wastes – “the tailings”; Methods – carrying out of Experimental and theoretical investigations of dynamic compaction of soil mixes with utilization of “tailings”; The new material of the soil mixes with utilization of “tailings” has been determined; Its composition with 70% “tailings” and 30% covering loamy soils for concrete conditions at the Poltava Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise has also been determined; The methods for rate setting of physical and mechanical characteristics of the soil mixture optimum composition by designing the earth constructions have been worked out; The mathematical model of the soils compaction process for “tailings” mixes with loam dopes, elaborated in the PoltNTU has been improved; Technical recommendations for utilization of “tailings” by construction of the earth structures have been worked out; The results were adopted for use by the branch of the Poltava Road Operational Section.
