Об'єкт дослідження - activity of preliminary investigation and pretrial inquest in investigation of muggings and robberies committed with the purpose of misappropriating of private assets of citizens. Мета дисертації - delopment of scientific provisions concerning concepts, structure and contends of an investigatory situation defermination of typikal investigatory situations that arise at the initial atage of investigation of muggings and robberies, formation of recommendations of their solution. Методи дослідження - the dialectic method of scientific knowledge of reality as well as some separate scientific methods such as of system and structure, comparative and legal, statistical, sociological. Наукова новизна - for the first time in Ukraine the complex research of problems of legal, scientific and organizational ensuring of the initial stage of investigation of robberies committed with the purpose of misappropriating of private assets of citizen is developed on the basis of the Constitution of Ukraine acting criminal and criminal procedure legislation, in-department legal acts of Ukraine; authors classification of typical investigatory situation at the initial stage of investigation of robberies committed with the purpose of misappropriating of private assets of citizen is provided, ways concerding their solution are defined; certain offers and recommendation concerning raise of efficiency of disclosure and investigation robberies and muggings committed with the purpose of misappropriating of private assets of citizen are outlined. Практичне значення - the results that can be used in practical activity for raise of a professional level of law enforcement officers in the sphere of criminalistic knowledge, skills and habits; in scientific and research work for the further engineering of the scientifically proved provisions and recommendations concerning improvement of criminalistic ensuring of investigation of separate kinds of crimes ; in the methodical aspect for engineering methodical and teaching aids; in educational process - throughout teaching the appropriate sections of criminalistics and criminal process. 6. Предмет і ступінь впровадження - the materials of the dissertation are used during teaching disciplin the criminal process juristic institution MIA of Ukraine. Ефективність впровадження - conclusions and offers have received a positive estimation from the exspects.
