Ol'shevskaya N. Diagnostics and differential diagnostics of non-organic etiology nightmares.

The thesis contributes into the problems of nosologic property of nightmare syndrome of non-organic etiology, their combination with psychic disorders of non-psychotic level, development of diagnostics and differential diagnostics of nightmare syndrome of non-organic etiology and fantasies that would cardinally affect the therapeutic tactics and expert work, and would have economic benefits. On the system approach basis (clinic-psychopathologic, clinic-ethologic, clinic-linguistic, clinic-analytical and neurophysiologic study) the connection between symbolization and nightmare syndrome of non-organic etiology discovered. Clinic-ethologic and clinic-linguistic interconnections, verbal-nonverbal translations found. Gender discrepancies in verbal and nonverbal conduct during nightmare and fantasy narration stated. The efficiency of complex methods of non-organic etiology nightmare syndrome diagnostics and differential diagnostics assessed.
