The dissertation is devoted of the complex research and an educate of the nature and of the essence of the function of the state as a general theoretical category and their general characteristic. The author investigates the main approaches by the classification of the functions of the state. In this thesis is analyzed the conceptions of state and the economic sphere and their relations. The author is investigated by the problems of the development of the economical system of the society in whole for elucidating the main tendencies of development of the economical functions of the state. In the dissertation it was analyzed and found the main preconditions that come during the development and the effect of the economical functions of the state. There are the practical references for perfecting of the effect economical function of the state and to determine of the tendencies of development.
