Podgayevskiy S. The clinical and biochemical appreciation of using contrycal in complex treatment of patients with lung tuberculosis with concomitant chronic bronchitis

Object of research - protease-antiprotease and oxidant-antioxidant system of blood at pulmonary tuberculosis accompanied with chronic bronchitis. The purpose - to study the efficiency of using drug contrycal in a complex treatment of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis accompanied with chronic bronchitis. Methods of research - clinical, radiological, functional, bronchitic, biochemical methods. Material processing was conducted using mathematical-statistical methods. Results - it is proved that contrycal decreases the intensity of the inflammatory reaction at experimental tuberculosis in guinea-pigs, changes the cell's composition of granulom by increasing of lymphoid cells quantity, prevents the appearance of postinflammatory reaction in connective tissue, normalizes the common antitryptic activity of blood serum. It is proved that using of contrycal in treatment of tuberculosis considering its positive influence on the state of oxidant-antioxidant system of blood and also on the state of serum inhibitors proteases and proteolytic serum activity of blood contributes to increasing efficacy of lung tuberculosis patients' treatment.
