Financial and Legal Regulation of the Ukrainian Stock Market The thesis provides the comprehensive scientific investigation of problems of the financial and legal regulation of the Ukrainian stock market at the stage of forming and establishing of market relations. The categorical substance of the notion of "the stock exchange" has been determined. It has been proved that the stock exchange represents first of all a financial legal relation in the sphere of the financial law. Special characteristics of the financial and legal regulation by this systemic phenomenon have been defined. It has been substantiated that the stock market from the legislative point of view is first of all a financial and legal system providing for the necessary rules of the game and conditions for its establishing and development. The reasons hampering the development of the securities market and the stock market in Ukraine have been determined. Methods and mechanisms of their elimination or mitigation through the improved system of the financial and legal regulation have been proposed.
