The dissertation is aimed on the study of biological role of recombinant human beta-defensin-2, particularly its influence on viability and proliferation of malignant transformed epithelial cells in vitro, and the patterns of hBD-2 expression on the level of mRNA and protein in gastric and cervical cancers.
