Romanyk O. The investigation of properties of leather materials plastificated by different methods

Work contains theoretical ground s of foam dyeing method were worked out and the comparative investigations of moisture exchange, deformation-relaxation, physical-mechanical property complex of natural leather treated by water and foam were carried out. The analysis of properties of samples humidified by foam demonstrates the stress reduction during moisture removal and increase of total deformation and its components (instantaneous and elastic) in comparison with the samples humidified by water. The treated by water samples possess considerable rigidity in tension and strength but less relative elongation at rupture. The optimal operating conditions of shape formation of upper humidified by water were defined. The investigations allowed to work out the foam method of humidification with foam solution warming. For the realization of material foam humiditation method on the example of upper making the technological scheme and construction of humiditation installation were elaborated.
